This policy explains what data SpeakReady currently collects, how we use it, and what controls you have.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data from authentication providers (such as email, name, and avatar).
• Profile data you provide (country, timezone, target band, exam date, study goal).
• Session data (audio uploads for transcription, transcripts, scores, generated feedback).
• Operational data (session run status, usage logs, and API request metadata).
• Billing event metadata when payments are enabled (transaction and webhook records).

3. How We Use Data

• Provide IELTS speaking simulations and AI-generated feedback.
• Store progress history and transcripts in your dashboard.
• Operate account, session credits, and security controls.
• Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures.

4. Service Providers

SpeakReady currently uses Supabase (authentication and database), OpenAI (speech/text generation), Google OAuth (if you sign in with Google), and Razorpay when payment features are enabled.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained while your account is active unless you request deletion. You can permanently delete your account from the Profile page; this removes your auth account and related data linked through database relations.

6. Security

We use provider-managed authentication, role-based access controls, and row-level security in the database. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Controls

• Update profile information from the Profile page.
• Request account deletion using the Delete Account action in Profile.
• Log out at any time from the account menu.
